like to get a quick release model. J&P has pages upon pages

of the Memphis Shade style that I like with the black underspray.

Here's the thing I don't know what model will adapt to the 250.

Naturally, the Rebel is NEVER considered when for...motorcycles are listed.

Uncle George placed a photo of his a long time ago. (he has since flown the coop)

Anybody out there???
Thank You.

The Dennis Kirk catalog lists the Memphis Shades "Classic Deuce", "HellCat", "Demon" and "Shooter" for the 96-04 rebel 250. You must use turn signal relocation kit 23-0454 - $29.95

This I predict will be another tough one. Quick release is tough to find.

Two thumb screws releases the SpitFire. Not exactly what you're looking for I bet.

Exactly..I'm searching for a classic quick release. I wouldn't usually be

so self indulgent but I'm back working 45 hrs a week.I have the coin to treat myself.

Whenever I ride now I appreciate it more. Rode to work a few nice days and it was heaven.

Trish, The thing I would watch is how adjustable the angle is on the 4 point mounts.

If you haven't checked National's site, Here is the Search For the 250 Rebel

my 'bug antenna' handlebar mount type rebel sheild is much more adjustable

than my fork mount type Q/R harley sportster sheild (ie: not at all)

Yep.

When I bought the Valk, it had a quick-tatch riot shield on the front of it. That went away pretty quickly, but while playing with it, I noticed that it could only be tilted about an inch and a quarter from full-up to full-lean. Pretty sad...

I kept the fork clamps, though-- never know what good those things might be! Very Happy

If you are interested in this windshield order direct from National Cycle on the link provided by Uncle George (with thanks to) MR.

All hardware IS included. Of the many distributors of National all the hardware is a SEPERATE purchase doubling the end price to you.

This is not the quick release model that I was hoping for but, at $122.00 hardware and shipping total it is a good value compared to a $350.00 quick release model.

Uncle George did his homework, and passed with flying colors!

Another reason to appreciate this most valuable and informative site Very Happy

Trish,

Are you sure that is a quick detach model? I'm looking at the parts in the picture and it doesn't look like it is. It appears one end of the bracket clamps to the fork and the other screws to the windshield.
