Please do let us know it fits your 250 or not. Pictures are nice, of course.
Thanks.

Oh it fits! Very adjustable and you can get different adapters for the forks and spools.
I'll post more pics when I'm done with the chain.

Comes in handy if you're taking both wheels in for new tires.
If the valve shims ever come for the NX250, I expect to do exactly that, once I'm satisfied that the engine is running OK. _________________ John, 1989 NX250, 2009 CRF230L (L'il Red Piglet), 2001 Rebel - sold

Do you know what size swingarm spools would be used?
Harbor Freight sells both 8mm and 10mm.
Thanks! |

| I'm just jealous that you have a Harbor Freight nearby. I wish I did. |

I have a Harbor Freight about 2 miles away. I don't buy any hand tools there, like wrenches, sockets, or screwdrivers, those are all Snap-On or MAC. I have bought a lot of electric tools there, including drills, grinders, saws, etc, and have been generally pleased. I did have one fake Dremel I bought there fail prematurely, but in all honesty, I seriously abused it. I replaced it with a real Dremel, which I still abuse, but it takes it, and just keeps going.
I do ALL the work on my own bikes, from tires to engine rebuilds. Jerry. _________________ "I'd rather wake up in the middle of nowhere than in any city on earth" Steve McQueen |

Harbor Freight has lots of tools and equipment that are great values for the home mechanic. You just have to take a look at each one before buying it and consider the use you'll be putting it through. I have quite a few things in my garage that came from there and have given me very good service for the investment.
All that said, I've never had a need to own a motorcycle jack/stand. So far, a small 2x4 block on a floor jack placed under the swingarm has been plenty for the tasks I've had to do on the Rebel and then the Vulcan. If it needs to be in the air for a while (like replacing a rear tire), I'll just place jackstands under each side of the swingarm. _________________

I had one that one of the small wheels broke "cheap thin plastic" and nearly made the bike fall on me. Had the rear wheel off and was leaning on it when it happened. Took it back and it was replaced. Not the highest in quality but for the price ...

Replace them with the wheels off of inline skates.
I do that with _many_ wheeled devices in the shop, and the kid's training wheels on their little bikes. _________________
