well, I like beer probably just as much as anyone else. However since I purchased a bike almost a month ago my drinking has greatly been reduced from about a 6 pack a week to maybe 2-3 beers a week. ...

I'm looking for a local distributor that sells aftermarket pads/bike parts but no luck yet.

With cars I've always used bendix brand organic or ceramic.

I'm not sure what brand(s) are best on b ...

it's the second new bike in 3 weeks!


I put about 260 miles on the rebel before taking it back and I only lost a hundred on the price I paid for the trade in.

traded in the rebel after 10 min on the bike.

I know theres alot of downplay because of the cable front brake but with it adjusted properly I noticed very little difference in the stopping power ...

basicly it's a mixed review. Some prefer motorcycle oil (oil intended specifilcy for motorcycles) others prefer a full synthetic oil like Mobil 1 and others prefer synthetic diesel oil like rotella. ...

I think your going to find a stalemate of opnions on this. Half the tech's I know hate them and the other half love them.

Personally I'd say no to them because of the issues mentioned.

I'm a dealer for sea foam but I don't use it much myself. I found it does more for minor carbon build up and fuel conditioning than anything else.

I like using the stuff for water contamination/stabi but have you guys ever had any luck with it on gum/varnish from old fuel?

that was the first adjustment I had to make on the bike. Definatly makes it much easier to handle and really helps out the lower back so I'm not crunched over.

a leak down test would give you better results than a compression test.

A leak down test would tell you if your problem is in the valves, head gasket or rings.

I'm not sure how much you already ...
